Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Ministry of Finance and the Economic Development Ministry to speed up the process of making a decision on the introduction luxury tax in Russia.
In April, Vladimir Putin after the "straight line" with the population gave the order to amend the legislation before 1 November 2013. Now, this term has shifted to October 15. Therefore, it is possible that the luxury tax will go into effect since 2014. This information is available on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.
