The IFRS Foundation published interim version of the IFRS Taxonomy 2013 this friday - a set of electronic tags, in which have been converted all IFRS standards and interpretations (effective to January 1, 2013) to them.
The "IFRS Taxonomy 2013" includes all intermediate releases that came out in the past year. In reference to completely new standards, which will only be issued by the IASB, they, as usual, will be added in the "taxonomy" as a minor releases of 2013.
In addition to the IFRS Taxonomy 2013, it is also incorporates the concept of reflecting some specific to individual industries accounting practices. These concepts are derived by carefully examining the financial statements of the representatives of banking, insurance, mining and energy industries.
The IFRS Foundation will conduct a webinar, in which they will try to answer all questions related to that publication.
